I never expected this song to reach the 6th place, that was the most surprising result of the contest for me. Thank you!

  2. As I said during the first session, I came to this edition without any expectations. The most popular songs in Spain right now are not very interesting and I wanted to show something different of the Spanish culture. After searching for a while, I decided to go with a folk song in Galician, one of our three official regional languages (Galego, Català and Euskera/Basque) that was very close to represent us in Eurovision this year. To be honest I did not think this kind of music would be that appealing, but I am very happy with the result. I can't forget to congratulate both @Cinnamon Bun@Quasit and @OlympicIRL for their medals. I have no idea how Tanxugueiras have finished above Ed Sheeran, but I guess that's the magic of this contest. And with this victory my next goal will be getting some points from and . After 6 editions these are the only 2 countries that I have never managed to receive a single point from (excluding Norway and those who only participated once) .

  4. Spain 12 My first TISC participation was the 2019 Open contest and guess what TISC meme originated from that contest? I guess the prophecy was right, Spain had to win the contest which was hosted by me. Joking aside, Spain collected 160 points, 4 x 12 pts from , 1 x 11 pts from and 3 x 10 pts from . There are no questions about which was the strongest nation of this contest. I would like to congratulate @Cobi, Spain was long overdue for this kind of success in TISC. And now we shall end the contest the way every song contest should, with the winning song.   5. Interesting contest Firstly: congratulations to @Vektor for one of if not the most technically executed contests, it was super easy and entertaining to follow, very smooth grand final. Congratulations to Spain for their first ever win and to Ireland and Great Britain for their continuous success in these contests to land on a podium yet again. Congratulations to our team, we did it @Agger @Wumo @catgamer @Glen I think it's very fun to share this victory with you since our team is pretty much comprised of the OG's that have been with TISC since the very beginning As for Lithuania, well 14th place is not bad, sad we didn't hit the 100 points, many jurors liked the Lithuanian song, but nobody loved it. I thought that I wouldn't enter a Gebrasy song again, but it's nearly three years since I'm working with my new producer and best friend Faustas and I just wanted to showcase something from that part of my life, though the biggest pain was deciding between "Where'd You Wanna Go?" and "Into Your Arms", though I'll never find out which would've been a correct decision We'll continue to release new music and we're already working on a single for Summer, it's going to be in Lithuanian, I gladly invite you to follow our journey, but for TISC, I think I'll much rather prefer to highlight other artists in our music scene.

Congratulations to @Cobi and Spain for a magnificent victory, a first TISC title for the nation, very special moment I also want to congratulate @Cinnamon Bun @Quasit on taking the bronze medal, a 5th TISC podium for Great Britain Thank you so much to everyone who voted for Ireland and pushed us towards a wonderful silver medal. I’m so happy with this medal, finally we complete the set of medals after many years I just want to give special thanks once again to @dcro, @intoronto and @Bohemia @Benolympique for awarding their 12 points to Gavin James, I was honoured. And last but no means least I need to give a huge thanks to @Vektor who has been an outstanding host throughout this entire edition of TISC. He has given us a fantastic Grand Final, a beautiful ceremony, entertainment throughout the thread and has been a total professional in his hosting duties. You have taken such good care of TISC and it has been a pleasure to come on this journey to Hungary. Look forward to seeing you all again soon in Czech Republic for the 19th edition of TISC. Thanks to all who contribute to making this a fun experience each time.

My greatest recognition to other deserving songs I wanted to award points, but sadly, had to cut this time: (R1), (R2), (R3), (R4), plus in no particular order: .   17. Team Challenge Final Standings There's no TISC without a team event and this time the most consistent team won the contest. The Szombathely Romans always had at least one nation in their team that helped them out in every session, they were a real team. Fehérvár Saints were the strongest team for session 2 and 3 but their mojo ran out in the last session.   34. Charts! I hope you like charts because I got two of them. During the final I posted the summaries of the sessions where I showed you the progression of the Top10. Now you will see something similar for the whole final and for the Top 12 nations because they were the ones that crossed the 100 points line. 12 is a record number of nations to reach 100 points at a contest, it only happened one other time, at the 2018 Annual contest, where we had 41 nations competing. The first chart shows the rankings, the second one the collected points.
