Yeah, we should definitely improve our last-minute qualification-fixing game.

 

We used to be quite good at it (plenty of pop-up standards for 2004/2008), but I guess we reformed waaaaay too much... Whoa.

I remember when Elkasevic and Mulabegovic threw Olympic standard in shot put at some village meeting in Serbia at the last day of qualification period. I think it was 2004. Entry standard was 20,30m back then and their results were 20,31m and 20,30m ?

 

I guess WA will have to introduce something similar as FINA that only selected events count towards qualification and rankings.

Thanks a lot, Iiterally did not sleep well thinking that Spain or Dominican Republic could push us out. Unfortunately mix is out. Those guys would deserve it a lot, too! Well, let's aim for Paris :-)

You know, I've been for some time that it would be interesting having "international teams" at the Olympics. Such as relays, tennis doubles, etc ....
