i think Scotland will Scotexit from UK fa28352b17a958bf02c250bda9bffddf.gif

It's quite possible Nothern Ireland will want to quit UK too, at least from what I've heard - apparently one of major politicians said something like "London just lost it's right to control our territories". The voters in NIR also choose to remain un EU.

My favourite Volleyball position: LIBERO. You ask why? Look here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyIOarNAONk

Yeah, that's exactly it. I want the end of the EU so France can finally annex the Val d'Aoste because we all know the UE is really the only thing stopping it at the moment.

Peace made the EU possible, not the other way around. We are too old, too confortable and our economies are too mutualy linterconnected for any war to even happen between western european countries.

I simply want to get rid of that extra layer of bureaucratic nightmare and the kleptocracts that go with it (we have plenty at home allready, so no thanks). That's it.

Idiots here in the Netherlands are already calling for "Nexit"

Dear Lord, let's just wait at least 3-4 years to see the actual consequences for the UK, because everything is mostly speculation so far. I seriously hope our politics won't make these stupid emotionally based decisions and simply stays patient for a couple of years.

If not, a "Nexit" referendum would only be won by people who can not think much more than "Hur dur all muslims are terrorists close the borders OMG!!!" and that's not exactly good.

I am glad that most british people voted for leave, GB has never really been part of the EU, just like Russia or Turkey dont belong in the EU, now british people finally decided to leave. Some interesting questions are still to answer:

Will Scotland remain in the EU?

Will we again have borders between Ireland and Northern Ireland?

Who will replace Cameron as PM? I guess it will (sadly) be Johnson, but it would be great to see Farage as new PM. Maybe we will have elections again and UKIP will win them. I think it will be difficult for the Conservative Party to agree on someon as opportunistic as Johnson as new PM.

Where will british people now go for holidays? Spain will probably now be too expensive for many british people. I think Manchester or Birmingham are very beautiful places too.

Will Franlfurt become the new financial centre of Europe?

When will GB actually exit the EU?

Its gonna be really interesting to see how GB will do without the EU. Switzerland for example is doing just fine and i think GB will also be fine without the EU.

Farage? Really? What would he do as a PM now that UK won't have the EU to blame anymore. I am sadly also guessing for Johnson, but he is still a pretty controversial guy.

But it will surely be interesting to see how Scotland (and even Northern Ireland) will react to this. Both show a majority for staying in the EU, and it doesn't seem too unlikely that at least Scotland will try to get another referendum, where leaving EU might be enough for it to tip.

And when? It will most likely take at least 2 years and the official work will only begin with the new PM. I'm guessing 2020, but it's not much of a qualified guess.

It is interesting to see today people on social media and in general that preach equality of people, everyone should have the same rights being "those stupid, uneducated small town people ruined the country". How things change when it is not in your favour.:d

    • I hope she can do well, but I think she's not going to win any gold, as she's never been comfortable both with the shooting range and the altitude in Anterselva   I fear biathlon is going to be one of the biggest flops for us next year (the other disaster will come from the sliding sports, I'm pretty sure...rather, hopeless)   I think our medal table will heavily depend on the speedskating sports, on the big air events and on alpine snowboard, any other discipline's contribution is going to be marginal
    • Great to see luge being back underway, but annoying that the graphics aren't really working properly yet     They're showing the time gaps at all the splits, as per usual, but then at the finish there is only the actual time, and no time gaps, resulting in all the time having to mentally calculate the difference to see if someone gained or lost time in the last part.

    • Watched the mass start on Sunday & it just didn't work.  Runners starting from the fourth or fifth row back (ie everyone in places 20-70) were losing time through no fault of their own - just not enough room on the piste for 70+ starters.  So OK for an experiment, but not for real meaningful competition.

    • Yeah that mirror thing was so weird. You literally need a maximum of two safety car laps (possibly just 1) to take away that 1 piece of stuff....but wait until someone unavoidably shatters it into 1000 little pieces     Intentionally or not, there is no way it was NOT going to happen at some point...
