Men's 50k has been moved up an hour to 08:00 CET/15:00 LOC.

 

It has also been shortened....it's now a 30k

If it'd go to a 15k mass start, she's one of the main favourites  Even with a 30k mass start she has more than an outside shot already.

Why was 50k shortened and delayed? Wind has big effect in biathlon, but not in cross country skiing

It's easy to be angry about it, but if it's -15 with the winds we've seen in the area today, this is really not a bad decision. An unfortunate one and I'm sad it had to be taken, but sadly a necessary one.

The conditions must be beyond terrible, they wouldn't shorten the distance if they had any other choice.
