Dahlmeier's body will remain at the Laila Peak. According to her management, she wrote down, that in a case like this, nobody should risk their lives to get her body, and she should remain in the mountains.

She may well be my favourite non-Dutch/Spanish athlete of all time. Absolutely heartbreaking news, really have a hard time taking it in. Brilliant biathlete and a great personality inside and outside of the sport.
