Because Östersund was their European 'base' until last season, and Tobias Torgersen (and Mattias as well, yes) was the coach of the Swedish IBU Cup team, which had the Brazilians basically as a part of them (like sharing wax/dressing cabins at the competitions, Torgersen being their guy at the team captain's meeting and so on). And because of all that they're friends with Samuelsson among others
