So after 74 days, let's have a bit of update on BWF event bidding candidates:

Thomas/Uber Cup (Men's and women's team WC) 2018: :THA  Bangkok and :IND New Delhi

World championships 2018: :CHN Nanjing (sole bidder)

Sudirman Cup (Mixed team WC) 2019: :CHN Nanning, yes Nanning not Nanjing (sole bidder :smoke:)

World championships 2019: :JPN Tokyo and :SUI Basel

Basically everyone is so afraid of Chinese venue collections and stayed off from bidding in that events :p And it looks like all those events will be in Asia, since it is very likely for BWF to award WBC 2019 to Tokyo for Olympic test event. Unless an European (or other continent) country bids for the World Junior Championships (TBD later this year), we won't see any badminton major events outside Asia until 2020. A reverse condition from 2015-2017 bidding where it managed to spread to Pan Am and Oceania

Where is the results page? (the official one I mean, not the Totallympics one :d )I'm always having trouble finding that  :p

I find it only on the official app for mobile phone. Try to write "Badminton EC2017", you'll find it ;)

    • yesterdays' results:  VS  26-31 Very good result for  to qualify to the main round, the team improved (but not to compete with the high level yet).  is a fast and rapid team but lacking the strength and good defense.    VS  29-29, great game from both giants,  finished the first half 16-11 but a great comeback from  in second half with special thanks to Alex Dujshebev who scored in the last 6 seconds and to Dujshebev junior (Daniel) who saved the long shot from the center to secure the draw in a thriller game. De Vargas (  GK) did one great moment in the game when he saved a penalty and the Ref gave the Swedish player Hampus a red card thinking it came straight to De Vargas face but the GK told the ref it came to his hand asking the ref to cancel the red card in a great moment  (at that time the score was 20-14 to Sweden)      VS  28-38, great game from the African side,  is a big question mark, in 1999 Wch they finished 8th and since then the team performance was keep going down (decent number of players switched nationalities),  was leading the game from start till the end and secure a historical qualify to the main round.    VS  18-23, is it a surprise? ..yes and no ..  should be the more favorable side but their performance even in the European qualification was not great..  beat  in European qualification with 1 goal difference in a very tough game.  was performing very well from the beginning finishing the 1st half 14-8,  GK get the credit for such brilliant result.
