New season, same old habits. DNF for Vinatzer :coffee:

I have truly lost count how many times he has bombed out of a race :d And this time he was actually putting very decent sectors.

He was losing a lot on the wall section, so I wasn’t expecting to see green, but a top-8 was possible

It's a shame that our first ever gold medal wasn't broadcast.

It must be bad luck, because the previous stage where he was disqualified was broadcast.

With the ever-changing world around us, there are still a few things that are constant year after year, and in this case it's Levi being the most boring round in every alpine skiing season (for me). I almost fell asleep twice while watching the second run.

Long way short of being boring today!

Already going to be one of the most awesome results of the winter, Hallberg with Finland's first World Cup podium since January 2013 and the first man to do so since legendary Kalle Palander in December 2007 (!) and out of all places, he did it in Levi

Nice fresh -20 degrees, but I think the temperature went up quite quickly after that in the party :d

Apparently :SUI Laura Gut has suffered an injury and her entire season could be at risk :yikes:

Which would also likely be career ending given this is meant to be her final season.

    • Papszun took over in December when Legia was in 17th place already. Edward Iordanescu started the season and former player Inaki Astiz was a caretaker for two months. This duo combined for a club record 12 match winless streak that dropped Legia to relegation zone. The club's previous worst streak was 11 matches in 1966

    • Yes, that's Haaland's cousin Braut Brunes. If he has a bad day Raków is usually scrapping for 1-0 victory unless they concede a goal. Ivi Lopez is the playmaker but he's not as sharp since an injury last season.   Lech & Jagiellonia are the two strongest clubs right now, Raków probably #3. I discount league surprises and of course Legia which is stuck in relegation zone
    • On transfermarkt, Raków is worth 42 million euros and Jagiellonia only 32, but it is known that this is only a theory. On paper, the most valuable clubs in Poland are Lech and Raków: €42 million each. Raków have a strong Norwegian attacker from what I can see on internet.
    • Fiorentina gets another  club Raków Czestochowa in R16     Raków manager Marek Papszun moved to Legia lately and the club is slightly less demanding than Jagiellonia IMO. They're unlikely to score more than 1-2 goals in a game even in our league but have a better defense.
