Deserved elimination for Italy, they played poorly throughout the entire tournament.

 

Bronze would be underwhelming, not being on the podium, which is by far the likelier scenario at this point, would be a failure on the same scale as the men's PGS.

Yep completely agree they really struggled and I’m surprised they managed to make it this far despite that. The Constantini/Mosaner we saw this week was not a 6-3 team.

Seeing how each playoff match has been the reverse of the round robin draw, I’m scared about , but it wouldn’t be the first time the US beats them for curling gold.

As much as I didn't want this final, the curling percentages are pretty clear that  and  have been the two best teams this week.

The thing is, Mosaner is the more talented of the duo, although he certainly didn’t show it this week.

 

I heard an Italian journalist say that Constantini has played with different partners in the past and she never made it past the round robin stage in international tournaments.
