Athletics WA World Championships 2025

Every medal in this season will be good for Fabbri- even bronze. Last year, I was hoping for gold and then Crouser's poor form might have been a factor. Fabbri is much less consistent now than he was then. Zane Wair has no chance for a medal- he might have trouble advancing to the final.

Why is Crouser the favorite for gold for bookmaker if he hasn't thrown a single shot this year? Are there any secret information about his current form?

Bookmaker odds are less about reality and more about feels. If betting people feel he's the favourite then he will have the best odds.

In the end the bookmakers want to make a profit.

Start lists are out on the official website for Day 1

And their website layout is completely atrocious for PC.

Oh goddamn it.

World Athletics used to have an excellent timetable page, easy to find (unlike European Athletics and their horrible website), with start lists and results separated (so you can still get start lists when not watching live).

This just seems like another mess. Of course this...

...is going to change to a result after the event, I seriously wonder if you'll still be able to get a start list then?

Edit: I think you can if you got to yet another separate page, where you then have to select the event, hold your hand over the result, and click on the start list.

Why make things easier if you can make them harder? :cheer:

Decathlon is stacked again, even without the Olympic champion. Looking up to that one big time.

I am told eurovisionsports will still work but

  1. Need very good VPN
  2. Pick a pretty obscure country - almost all major ones are blocked.
