Not official, but from my calculations

:CHNLIAO Guifang
:USAOlivia Lynn REEVES
:ECUAngie Paola PALACIOS DAJOMES
:ROULoredana-Elena TOMA
:PHIVanessa SARNO PALOMAR
:EGYNeama Said Fahmi SAID
:COLMari Leivis SANCHEZ PERINAN
:TPECHEN Wen-Huei
:AIN(:BLR)Siuzanna VALODZKA
:FRAMarie Josephe FEGUE
:AUSJacqueline NICHELE

As Fegue will probably get the quota on 86 (or even as Host Nation quota), the 11th would get the quota.

:NGRJoy Ogobonne EZE did an amazing job on Group C to lift 239kg total.

On the waiting list, both with 238kg. I think China will not accept this one in the end

:BRAAmanda DA COSTA SCHOTT

:CUBYeniuska MIRABAL FERIA

and then, with 236kg (but I guess she can not get an universality quota, because this category will be a HN, right?)

Martin Garcia :TLS finished 6th yesterday in Men's 81kg, non Olympic event, best performance ever by a Timor Leste athlete in any sport at top level.

She can. The French woman has qualified on own merit(top 10) or may even opt to lift in 81kg where she's qualified. Host nation counted when athlete has not qualified normally (ie finished top 10)

yeah, but if the Frenchwomen opts for 81 (which will probably happen), then France will have quotas on 59 and 81, right?

The 2 Host Nation quotas would be then at 71 and either 59/81 (IWF will choose) and Universality quotas would go to 49, +81 and 59/81. I think so, at least lol

    • This is going to have an effect on very likely 0 athletes, possibly 1 or 2 we don't really know about yet. It's really mostly the cheapest possible way for them to make a sort of political statement, without having any significant backlash since it won't really affect anyone at the top level of international sports.   Edit: worded a bit wrong, I was thrown off by everywhere 'trans women' being mentioned as the target of this. Of course there is also the somewhat larger category of DSD and the likes, which will certainly affect a few athletes - unfortunately they are often thrown under the bus or mentioned as 'not really women anyway' or something like that, despite, you know, being.

    • People focus on trans people because it's easier to pinpoint the affected athletes. Meanwhile it's the athletes with (suspected) DSDs that will have tougher time to convince the authorities and the public opinion that they belong to women's sports.

    • yes, there are (or there was, at least) don't forget that the women's 800m had world and olympic champions like Semenya, Jelimo and Nyonsaba...basically, it was 10 years of DSD winners only the same Athing Mu was suspected to be DSD (never confirmed, but somehow she totally disappeared after Tokyo) then, there were the 2 girls from Namibia (1 won a medal over 200m in Tokyo) in Italy we have the living scandal Valentina Petrillo (a paralympian!!!), who's actually a real man not to mention the weightlifter from who took part into the Tokyo Games so, it's a real problem all around the globe, not just a US crusade against a few woke idiots
