Can't wait for another tournament that doesn't really feel like a tournament at all, like the random collection of matches that was 'Euro 2020'  

 

Obviously all 6 host nations will qualify automatically. I guess that's fine, because presumably by then we'll have 128 teams in the World Cup?

This also means that only teams from

Asia (and Oceania) will be allowed to bid for 2034.  or  will probably host next.

I assume PAR/ARG/URU means 3 automatical free host places, so how will be the Conmebol qualifier this time organized ? I guess we will finally return to the qualifying groups like in the pre 1998 era

48 teams in 2030 so still 42 to qualify. May not been many chances at all to South American qualifying.

Ridiculous nonsense. Good luck to teams having to travel between CONTINENTS after group stage when there's literally 4-5 days before the knockout phase. Jet lag will kill them. Expect a complete shitshow in that tournament.

There will only be three matches held in South America. If they’re all in the group stage, it shouldn’t be too big a logistical nightmare.
