I’ve been following his vlogs in Brum, and that would have made a good episode His best event is still to come, 800m free and he will surely medal there after making the world final this summer. He swam 2 Irish records in the 400 today so it’s a promising sign! He should be up there in the 1500 as well. Olympian1010
Grassmarket 2,760 Posted July 29, 2022 #572 Share Posted July 29, 2022 Oof, Dottin's attempted yorker goes for a wide! Did not need that. Dar can only cut weakly to square leg! Dottin follows up with a bouncer! And Barbados win by 15!

Olympian1010 7,483 Posted July 29, 2022 #577 Share Posted July 29, 2022 just holds on against in rugby sevens. They played a great first half, and a not so great second half. Hopefully they play more like the first half going forward. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. There are a few events where one person dominates, but it’s not like that’s a phenomenon limited to swimming. I do agree that programs could be reworked to create more difference between events. Even in events which are very close there's no real need to watch the race. It's just plain action . Tell me a sport with 10+ gold medals that is less diverse than swimming. Action is important in sport, which should be diverse or at least not have too many events for the same. Team sports, Racquet Sports, Martial Arts, Ball Sports and even modern pentathlon and skateboarding you can watch, swimming there's nothing really to watch. Just swim swim swim. Events in swimming are same like having Pool at the games - snooker,3ball,5ball, 6 ball, 7 ball, 9 ball 10 ball for men and women.
