I think the dates you have for Light Flyweight are wrong, they can't hold both R32 and R16 on 7th Aug. It should be 6th Aug R32, 8th Aug R16, 10th Aug QF.

Also 10th Aug should be Heavyweight QF, not Light Heavy QF.

AIBA confirm tripartite places in the men's tournament to Fiji, Jordan, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and Zambia

They couldn't even say which of these nations will be in which category...

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
    • FIFA announced the stadium and time for each match   for  Iran, it will be 2 matches in LA (and not just 1) and 1 in Seattle and luckily we avoided playing in Canada. absolutely nothing against the country, but there are just too many douchebag Iranian groups in Vancouver trying to mix everything with their stupid politics. it's better to stay away from them.   that can happen in US too but less likely. playing in LA is more like playing at home, at least I hope so. 2022 Qatar was a disaster from our point of view, hopefully this one remains only about football.

    • I don't think he'll mind too much
    • But his time isn`t valid at track record.
    • Vladimir Semirunniy dropped a 12:28 in the 10000m B division, which qualifies him for the Olympics as the fastest time this season (with the big asterisk that it was done in a quad start). Must be a real relief for the Polish team given he isn't looking likely to qualify for the 10000m (or the 5000m) by ranking.   Really problematic that they rank pair start and quad start times together, but whatever.   Also, the Wikipedia page for qualification is updated through the second day.
