I don't know, I for one enjoy a lot of streams without commentary but just ambience and the sound of sports quite a lot.

Trying to watch surfing here and tbh I am lost with commentary. My first issue with the Eurosport/discovery plus app

Have been checking a lot of ES streams this morning. Good news is that 90% are working.  Where there are multiple streams for a single event like gymnastics, you get at least one that has comms, but not every single bit of apparatus does. Ditto for table tennis, badminton etc. A lot better than yesterday.

Tennis on M4Sport (Hun broadcaster), tennis on Eurosport2, they are airing Osaka's first round match, while the start of cycling is on Eurosport1. Meanwhile there's a Skateboard final going on. This urbanization might not end up being such a success when broadcasters in Europe doesn't give a shit about the new sports.

The BBC showed the skateboarding heats over the GB women's hockey match against Germany, which was extremely surprising

That is a surprise. Through maybe they planning the hockey for later. It will be interesting to see how the BBC handles the whole games from a GB perspective - a story of decline is harder than a story of lots of medals and outstanding performances.

For women's gymnastics qualifier on ESP there is a stream with English commentary at least. Was it there also yesterday during the men's qualifiers?
