The :HUN team in the Olympic events:

Men's K1 1000m: Ádám Varga

Men's K2 500m: Bence Nádas, Bálint Kopasz

Men's K4 500m: Bence Nádas, Kolos Csizmadia, István Kuli, Sándor Tótka

We are going for the 6 quotas with Nádas in both K4 and K2. We can only go 6/6 here if all 3 boats qualify. Varga is a lock for the quota in K1, but the K2 and K4... it won't be easy. Kopasz and Nádas aren't prepared at all for the K2 and the K4 boat is unreliable.

Women's K1 500m: Tamara Csipes

Women's K2 500m: Sára Fojt, Noémi Pupp

Women's K4 500m: Alida Gazsó, Tamara Csipes, Eszter Rendessy, Dóra Hadvina

Csipes in K1 and K4, so we have to win the 6 quotas in K2 and K4. I am very afraid, I don't trust these boats.

Men's C1 1000m: Balázs Adolf

Men's C2 500m: Dávid Korisánszky, Ádám Fekete

No idea what to expect. I can see us finishing with 0 or 3 quotas, anything is possible.

Women's C1 200m: Virág Balla

Women's C2 500m: Giada Bragato, Bianka Nagy

Should be 2 quotas for us in C2, I doubt that Balla will deliver the third in C1.

Time for us to experience one of the most confusing qualification systems in action once again. But I guess it will be less complicated now that they removed two K1 events from the program. Still, the reallocation procedure might get a bit messy.

Agreed. I think they there will be some additional calculations after all the Olympic disciplines finish. Especially K4 and C2. Especially K4 from which will go 10 only from WCH. Still some decisions are really awkward. Such as shorting some distances to 500m. Or men's C1 is 1000m but women's is 200m. And removing K1 200m? Some of the decisions are really not smart at all.,...

is it possible to say who are the favorites in olympic competitions?

I think that the results of the European Games will be very close to the results here.

I'm not so sure

especially in C and women's events there will be some non-European Countries sneakin' in into the qualifying places

:ITA are basically going all in in the men's C2 and, with more than a bit of luck, men's K4

I don't think we have any chance in the other Olympic events

The :LTU team at these championships:

Women's K1 200m: Kotryna Glemžaitė

Women's K1 500m: Kotryna Glemžaitė

Women's C1 200m: Gabrielė Čerepokaitė

Men's K1 200m: Artūras Seja

Men's K1 1000m: Andrej Olijnik

Men's K2 500m: Mindaugas Maldonis / Andrej Olijnik

Men's K4 500m: Simonas Maldonis / Mindaugas Maldonis / Ignas Navakauskas / Artūras Seja

Men's C2 500m: Henrikas Žustautas / Vadim Korobov

Well, our team is still really hurt by the fact that the 200m distances are no longer Olympic, because Seja, Navakauskas and Žustautas are decorated with World and European titles in those. But this time we had a full cycle with these boats & teams and should be stronger. Hopefully we avoid the disaster of qualifying one boat last Olympics.

On the other note, we finally have women in a major championship. This is a revelation for our team :d

Good news is that qualification in C2 and K4 goes a long way in helping countries get Olympic entries :d
