Great news for Australia and China. It seems South Korea will assure no.1 in Group A then, so whichever team from Group B get no.1 will avoid meeting South Korea on the final stage. Hope China will get the 1st place in home

Better Australia than China.

 

My view , for what it's worth , is that it makes the most sense to hold qualifying events in the top ranked nation competing

 

It is generally accepted that the home nation team  has an advantage so it would be fairest for this unavoidable advantage to go to the most deserving- the acknowledged best nation

According to China state-run media, the most famous and major player Wang Shuang may not participate the qualifier in Australia due to traffic restriction in Wuhan. She is currently taking the leave in Wuhan with her family for lunar new year and may not leave the city due to the restriction. It is a great loss for China and would dramatically reduce the power of the team. 

 

BTW total 4 players including Wang Shuang are currently in Wuhan and all of them may fail to participate the qualifier
