I'm so happy for Bulgaria! At least now that's one less hurdle for them. I'm still in shock about Iceland and Estonia not qualifying, as well as Norway. And especially Georgia qualifying.

Obviously Russia, Ukraine, and Australia are dominating the bookies, but I don't think any of them will win.

Don't give up hope that easily :p After weeks of judging it took the number 1 spot in my TOP 43.

I strongly believe that it will be the best Bulgarian placement in their history and has a very high chance to be in the TOP 10.

Very "good" opinion about the german entry! :yes

Probably the best "summary" i read/heard, most people are only talking about her style/dress, which is annoying. The lyrics is probably too "average" to finish top 10, but we should be somewhere in the middle, 15th to 20th hopefully. Maybe some people give her a few extra points because they find her cute or like her dress ...

She won The Voice of Germany 2015, here are some other performances of her:

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

I think you are 100% right about the UK jury - the head of our jury has publically said that she just wants someone shy to stand there and sing and that she dislikes any gimmicks on stage? It will be between Poland and Lithuania for our televote - it is every year and I doubt it will be any different.

Some other interesting patterns you may have not seen

  • Ireland will give lots of points to Latvia
  • Belgium/Netherlands/France will give high points to Armenia
  • The head of the german jury was a judge on the Voice of Germany when the Armenian contestant was competing - so Germany will give lots of points to Armenia as well
