[OFF TOPIC] Eurovision Song Contest 2016

Got 9/10 qualifiers correctly. Didn't anticipate Georgia going in instead of Norway.

Basically, I am only very sad for losing Iceland and the performance of Montenegro was surprisingly brilliant and surpassed Cyprus for me.

OMG, Sanja had temperature 39C before her performance. :( Her voice was not that good like before, I was sure that something went wrong. I hope she will be ok for final.

I am proud on our girl. This was really good.

After Serbia for me Australia, Israel and Bulgaria did the best job.

And Ukraine and their pathetic political shits....

I think you're thinking a bit too much about neighbour voting. I would be surprised if all Nordic countries gives 12 points to Sweden even though they are outsiders for the win (don't ask me why, I think it's boring).

I honestly don't know who I'm gonna end up voting for. The favourites aren't that good in my opinion and my favourite (Iceland) didn't qualify.

At the moment I'm most positive about Austria and Latvia (and possibly Italy), but it will come down to the performance on the day.

    • It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.
    • Oh I assure you FIFA dodger a bullet with Israel not qualifying…   But ya that’s kind of the thing, shut up and dribble is a mantra anti LGBT people have used often. I don’t think it’s hypocritical to remind them of their position
    • Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt
