I guess she is just one month behind in her training. Will peak in Munich. And centimeters at a time will do it, if your sponsor is paying for NRs!

Hassan won't compete in Munich. Unfortunately :-(

Sifan Hassan looking good in the 3000m.

Femke Bol 49.75 NR in the jumpless 400m.

Meanwhile Natalia Kaczmarek 49.86 PB! Only the second Polish women under 50 seconds after Irena Szewinska. This is really big and thank to Bol for pulling the trailer for such a result!

Where did Hassan's final sprint suddenly come from? Two weeks late, but good for her to know she can still do it!

NR for Bol in the 400 flat. Curious which distance she chooses at the European Championships.

And a very nice NR for Schilder in women's shot put: 19.81. It's only centimeters every time, but she gets better every time.

Bol and Klaver want to double up!

That was a very nice Diamond League debut here in Poland. I hope it will be back next year as well. Couldn’t go to the stadium today but I would like to be there next time…

DL from Monaco on Wednesday.  In the last few years Monaco has been pretty much the best meet on the circuit, but then it was always the last big event before the major, so it might not be this time.  Plenty of big names in action though.

So far it's definitely been fantastic at least in terms of running :d

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)
