Breaking: :IPC has banned :RUS and :BLR athletes from the 2022 Paralympics. They will not be allowed to compete even as neutrals.

Holy hypocrisy of some countries.

Anyway, considering the moment I think IPC had no other alternative.

Russia have announced their are taking FIFA and UEFA to CAS over their ban.

This will be a major hearing. Because if Russia wins the consequences for Football’s future could be massive.

No way Russia can win this, come on. The political decision to ban everything russian is already widely accepted. It would be a huge scandal.

Do CAS think like that. Everyone wanted Russia banned from the Olympics for doping and they refused. And everyone wanted Valieva banned and they refused to uphold that.

War is more serious than doping. CAS will 100% uphold the ban or their funding and recognition will end.  And yes, it will be a completely political and not legal ruling.

Every international organization acts neutral until their money is on the line.

When the war is against the west, to be precise.

They are talking about Mario Andretti taking over the team

Michael Andretti is running the Andretti Autosport teams. And he applied for F1 charter slot from 2024 but he could take over Haas' spot if a new title sponsor isn't found. Speaking of which, more rumours start to cycle around that Mazepin will be axed and Pietro Fittipaldi will replace him full-time. The delay is obviously down to money, Banco do Brasil could hand out the millions but it's Haas in the desperate position so I reckon there are still negotiations over the actual ammount of $$$.
