stage #1 in  Egypt has started...

 

and it's started with a bang! for Italy, as Danilo Dennis Sollazzo won the first competition with the new (dumb and fan-enemy, to say the least) format...

Have the ISSF said anything regarding the banning of Russian and Belarusian competitors? Feel it looks really bad on them if they haven't since most sports have done so.

Yes, they released a statement today that said both countries could not take part in ISSF Championships.

That seems to be the direction most federations are going in at the moment.
