I just can't stop asking myself what's the aim of having those senseless not olympic team competitions with basically nobody at the start, despite many athletes being on site for the individual (and the mixed, when they are in the Olympic program) events...

not the most memorable in history, since very few of the best shooters in the world did show up...

 

I hope it's gonna be better in Rio next week, when the Rifle and Pistol specialists will make their second appearance of the season...

in the Mixed Team 10m Air Rifle competition, we already know the medal matches (they will be contested tomorrow)...

 

Czech Republic 2 and Norway 1 will fight for Gold, meanwhile the Bronze medal matches will feature Hungary 1 and Iran 2 on one side and USA 1 and Czech Republic 1 on the other...
