That's great. Except that Brazil would have to win vs France tomorrow and that's not easy lol

This is some mess. Haiti gets a soft penalty but ref is called back to VAR and takes it away. Oh, well. It was soft contact in first place and China should have had a second penalty themselves before.

:CHN played with 10 men since 28th minute and they beat :HAI 1-0. Not the best referee performance from Huerta de Aza, misjudged the physical nature of this game and I still don't know how China didn't get that second penalty decision a few minutes after the first one.

P.S - Wonder if they will get more on tomorrow's newspapers front page than just a small corner hiding beside some crap news about Benfica

And, as expected… so sad really… such a huge achievement and they get this small area in the cover page…

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
