That was the same draw of the previous cycle with Korea and Chile.

Do they just re-use the same always? When was this confirmed?

yeah exactly the same

if Egypt doesn't win the whole thing, Europe will be Continent 1, Africa will be Continent 2, Asia will be 3 and America will be 4

so it's

1) WCH 2, WCH 7, Asia 2, America 2
2) WCH 3, WCH 6, Africa 2, Europe 3
3) WCH 4, WCH 5, Europe 2, Africa 3

Do you really believe Iceland, Serbia or Netherlands can take a medal at ECH? Or Egypt not winning Africa champs considering they are hosting it? Most likely is really Egypt winning here but not really realistic.

It's not likely, but Iceland can always surprise.

Could someone explain the role of ECH in qualifing system? I know that champion will qualify directly but what about other teams? Does any lower position have any significance at all?

Europe has two spots guaranteed in the Repechage Tournament. So the second and third place at ECH might participate in this event.

If they are also qualified through WCH, then the fourth, fifth, and so on will take these spots

So the WCh continues to be very predictable. We got the QF pairings that everyone should have expected before the tournament. Hungary being there instead of Iceland is the only tiny surprise, but that was always the least predictable spot in the Top8.

Let's see if we get any surprises or the Final Four will be...

:FRA v :SWE

:ESP v :DEN
