dcro 10,193 Posted August 23, 2018 #841 Share Posted August 23, 2018 6 dressage medals have gone to 5 different nations. That's really cool, and I hope this trend continues so that we end up with a whole bunch of nations taking equestrian medals. and possibly even could be joining the medal table after eventing which starts tomorrow. #banbestmen

dcro 10,193 Posted August 23, 2018 #848 Share Posted August 23, 2018 (edited) Apparently this happened to Hong Kong softball team! (ball fell on the ground until the 4th player came and picked it up) Edited August 23, 2018 by dcro Griff88, Olympian1010 and thepharoah 1 2 #banbestmen
Olympian1010 7,659 Posted August 23, 2018 #849 Share Posted August 23, 2018 So, apparently the paragliding has been going rough lately. There has been rapidly changing conditions, such as wind speed, that have resulted in multiple accidents. One Chinese flyer was blown off course by a sudden gust of hard wind and broke his leg during landing. One Afghani fell 15 feet from the air when the suddenly stopped, sustaining injuries to her back and neck. Finally, one Mongolian flyer was blown off course and was forced land in a nearby car park. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. Dolby 714 Posted August 23, 2018 #850 Share Posted August 23, 2018 Congratulations @MHSN on the historic win in Kabbadi. Indian Kabbadi players have been complacent for quite some time and the professional league made them overnight superstars which increased their complacency. On the other hand, Iranian and Korean players have been working hard for this for quite some time and they deserve it. Also, it is good for the overall health of the sport.
