Spoiler I usually can't make peace with myself to support a doped athlete. but in this case the reaction from some western media was beyond disgusting. I don't think the great Justin Gatlin, the great Lance Armstrong and the great Marion Jones received this amount of criticism. everybody with a brain knows this has nothing to do with systematic doping in Russia (which Russia should be punished for), it was RUSADA who took the sample, not anybody else. there is an investigation ongoing, if she finds guilty later that will be a different story, but for now I only see a fantastic innocent kid, and losers like some random skater's dad envy her because they can't beat her on the ice.
