Alpine Skiing at the Winter Olympic Games Beijing 2022

Someone definitely pulled out even after Croatia since Poland was supposed to face Austria in Round 1. Now Austria has a bye and Poland faces Norway :mumble:

It was Great Britain. Surprising since with Ryding, Guest and Major there was a small chance for an upset. But maybe someone tested positive.

They had moved it up to 10 local time, but then they delayed 1 hour off the revised start time, so we are back to the original start time.  And it's pretty blustery out there.

I've been watching the halfpipe.  If it's half as bad there as it is at Alpine, that makes sense.

I'm guessing they moved it up in hopes of getting better weather earlier in the morning.  That obviously didn't happen.  We'll see if they can go at 11am local time

I am happy with the delay won't mind a delay by another hour or so. That would really ensure there will be some action throughout the day instead of an hour of nothing

Alternatively they could just award shared first place to all 15 teams.

Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
