And there used to be archery events with two entries. :p The key word - "used to".

Cross-country skiing reworked their unfair medal events. Biathlon ought to do the same.

Pretty sure the 1920 Archery competitions were just a conspiracy to increase :BEL's all time gold medal count. With just the medals they won in 1920 Belgium would be third in the all time medal table for the sport.

I really fucked up the prediction contest by assuming this would be a race rather than a free gold medal for the sprint winner :nopompom:

You don't watch much biathlon on daily basis? Olsbu would have a clear shot at gold even with 17/20 given her advantage after sprint.

Top 10 consolation for :POL Hojnisz after a terrible first shoot :)

:BLR Hanna Sola takes Alimbekava's usual 4th place.

    • I think that is probably the best that could have happened to her in the long term. If she won the bronze, it would have been one more of the 41 medals.   Now her case has made it to the main page of Spanish press and she gained way more recognition and will keep the same allowance as if she won the medal.
    • Why are these events so confusing?     Like, there's three events and judging by the names alone, women are allowed to play in all three of them? Seems like it should be the way luge did it: the doubles was an open event until very recently. Then the women's doubles were added and, logically, the open event became the men's event.\   Seems like there is only a few random matches available to watch by the way https://www.youtube.com/@ultiworld/streams
