Hi, sorry if this is the wrong thread for this question. My family of 4 are commuting to the Olympic in Paris from Reims (Our air B and B cancelled on us).

I’ll have a car in Reims however I imagine this is not a good option to get to hockey and athletics events on a Thursday and Friday in Paris for 10 am. Is fast train out best option? Any advise would be very helpful.

For those who plan to go Paris, there is a nice new Paris 2024 Transport app available now, with detailed info on how to get to every venue.

And there is also official Paris 2024 app with the same detailed schedule as on the website.

enjoy

How long do you think it would take to get from the airport to the mountain biking venue? i've talked myself out of going to paris for what i initially had planned, but as a long shot im thinking of trying to do the mountain biking as a day trip from the north west of england, flights and everything work out fine, would there be anything like an express bus to the venue?

Hey guys, for those, who are planning to visit the games and the Olympic houses, there are currently confirmed 24 Olympic houses and maybe more to come. I have put all of them into the google maps so you can use it if you travel around. Here is the link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/vZ1zyS8wDjumEgPZ7

Surprisingly, there are some countries coming with the Olympic house ideas for the first time or at least I don't remember seeing them at the previous games: :IND:KOR:MEX:SRB

It is an amazing idea to let the fans and athletes celebrate, share the culture, history, cuisine, etc. Hoping there will be more countries opening their Olympic houses for public. Hopefully counting around 30.

For those who have Paris tickets the Olympic app (not the ticket or navigation app) just added some information on each event including venue maps. This is the first I’m seeing of specific layouts for some events.

They also allow you to add the free events to your itinerary which is helpful for organization.

Here’s the pentathlon venue. The pool is to the south of the jumping course.

Here’s the climbing venue. It’s a much larger seating scale then the other venue maps have shown.

    • And Ed will be back later tonight to play a melody of his top songs.    Tonight we're emanating from the incredible Goodison Park in Liverpool, which will also play host to Sunday's grand final and closing ceremony.    So let's find out a bit more about our host venue.      Built in 1892 after a dispute between the owners of Everton Football Club and Anfield Stadium (where Everton used to play) the stadium can hold a total of 39,414 people.    The stadium has played host to many memorable moments, including the vast majority Everton's 130+ years in top flight football, their miraculous last day relegation escapes, the 1893-94 FA Cup final between Notts County and Bolton Wanderers and 5 games at the 1966 World Cup including the Quarter Final between Portugal and North Korea and the Semi Final between West Germany and the the Soviet Union.    This ground was also chosen by lifelong Everton fan Sylvester Stallone to play host to the fight between Adonis Creed and "Pretty" Ricky Coclan in the 2015 Box Office film Creed.    At the end of the 2024-25 Premier League season the ground is set to be demolished and turned into a housing estate as Everton move into their new stadium Bramley Moor Dock next season. A truly fitting venue to host TISC 2024.
