it's HKG or PRK for the men's quota and just PRK for the women's quota. MGL is there too but too weak to compete.

Honkong should take this, and they could take second quota (Baldwin/Lam) because one is so sure. But still Korea could make a suprise like in mix.

Now that the continental qualifiers are over, here's the situation for the final continental quotas.

 

On June 11th, the highest ranked eligible athlete from Africa, Asia, Europe and Pan America will get the quota. Here's what the top three look like.

 

Africa Men

19. :NGR Quadri Aruna

73. :SEN Ibrahima Diaw

118. :CGO Saheed Idowu

 

Africa Women

111. :ALG Lucie Mobarek

140. :ALG Lynda Loghraibi

183. :COD Ammadine Litobaka

 

Aruna pretty much has his spot locked up. The women's quota likely goes to Algeria.

 

 

Asia Men

42. :KAZ Kirill Gerassimenko

48. :HKG Chun Ting Wong

51. :IRI Noshad Alamiyan

 

Asia Women

117. :SGP Jingyi Zhou

164. :PRK Song Gyong Pyon

The men's quota for Asia is quite competitive, but all three will qualify through the rankings. On the women's side the depth is pretty bare now that most of the top athletes have qualified. Singapore has a large lead to win a second quota.

Diaz is pretty much qualified. Burgos is in a good position too. Afanador and Mino could make a run, but at the same time they are in a decent position world rankings wise too.

 

 

 

 

The final quotas will be decided through the overall rankings on June 18th. Assuming the above continental qualifiers remains unchanged, the men's side will start with 9 quotas while the women will have 11. Note as quotas are awarded more will be reallocated due to duplicates between singles and mixed doubles.

If after, it could still go to Hong Kong (Lam), but should Lam make the cut-off then it will go to :MGL Temuulen Myandal, though with only four points I wouldn't be surprised if a North Korean player took the quota. The Oceania quota is currently in the hands of :FIJ Vicky Wu.

He make a world ranking from ITF instead of oltmpic Race To Paris on this websitw, ofcourse closer june 18 it will be the same. But Bobocica has good World Champs, expire in a few days.

      It's waaaay too expensive & inconvenient. Basically WOG minus the bobsleigh track & indoor arena for figure skating/hockey(which is the easy part of Olympic bid). Just won't happen anytime soon. Winter sports are too facility dependant and the entire alpine skiing requires a separate venue.

      The Technical director of the Dutch Olympic Committee has, using his discretionary powers, decided to include them in the team. He cites “extra-ordinary circumstances”, but has not stated what they are. The use of these powers is quite rare. They were used in 2022 to nominate an alpine-skier.
