I have to say, Bolero playing during the torch relay conclusion in Japan must be one of the most odd music choices... ever.

Obviously, there’ll be a lot of mixed feelings about that ceremony, but in my opinion, they really stuck the landing at the end there. That last creative segment was great, and the torch relay/lighting went well and met the moment.

All useless, I heard that the Games will be cancelled in 16 days, a lot of countries will pull out, all confirmed by reliable inside sources.

Money talks. Osaka has insane BIg Tech support in USA & Asia. For being viewed as a traditional country Japan went with the Big Tech latest trend.

Osaka is by far the most well-known Japanese athlete, I don't know why anyone is shocked. Before the ceremony I was thinking about who they would choose and I thought that it will either be Osaka if she wants to do it or they will just go with young children or young athletes like London. And yep, those ended up being the last two in the Torch Relay.
