I don't think a single person expected  to be in contention for a medal (whether it's bronze or gold) with the squads that were sent  but now... I'm really happy for you guys 

So of course that last scenario I mis-calculated is now in play.  4 options left.  Germany can get to 4 wins, but they can't win a tiebreaker.  So here's the story for tomorrow..   If either  or  wins tomorrow, they're into the semis.  If they both win, then  is out.   If  and  both lose, then 1 of 2 things happens and  enters the conversation even though they can't advance.  A  win with those other 2 results puts  into the semis.  If  loses, then it's down to the draw shot challenge, which currently is being led by .  

Russians did not qualift for the Paralympics but the IPC sent them 6 bipartite inviatations. So they will participate with flag, anthem and without any neutrality check.     The first boycott - but not from the athletes  

Complete domination by the Japanese riders in all forms of park and pipe snowboarding for both men and women.    Whether people like it or not even though its a judged discipline park and pipe in both snowboarding and ski is here for the foreseeable future. Reason, geographic spread of medals. You just don't get that variety in other disciplines. Four continents have won medals for park and pipe in both board and ski. More than any other. As seen by results figure skating and short track (China/Korea) are probably the only winter sports bigger than park and pipe in East Asia. But that will perhaps change with Korea and China failing badly in Short Track.
