Broken pelvis and end of season for Evenepoel. It's a miracle that's all, so I hope he'll count his blessings, so to speak.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Damn, I really don’t want to imagine the force required to break your pelvis. I hope he’s able to make a recovery.

Tour de Wallonie is sponsored by the local tourist board, so we are getting more chateaux than cycling at the moment.

:raspberry:

Heading towards a city-centre bunch sprint in heavy rain....:fingers:  Long, straight & wide last km, fortunately.

All went down safely, Caleb Ewan :AUS takes the sprint.

for those who haven't seen Evanepoel's fall yet...

by the way, Evanepoel's accident wasn't the only scary and life-threatening moment of the day...

also Maximilian Schachmann was almost killed by an idiot who hit him with her car in a zone where nobody was supposed to be there...

here's the video: https://www.eurosport.it/ciclismo/il-lombardia/2020/incidente-per-schachmann-un-auto-civile-gli-taglia-la-strada_vid1336468/video.shtml

after those 2 unacceptable accidents, UCI is expected to denounce RCS (the organizers of the race) in the coming days...

They had so much time to give all pros coronavirus on purpose, wait for them recover, and finally have them race without this mindless approach in which tons of tests get wasted for each race.

Small question of medical ethics there, though.  :hyper:
