  1. Feel the Bern, and the Warren . If Warren can hold this, and then gain on Sanders, she may just receive my vote.
  2. Daily podcast: https://anchor.fm/twu/episodes/Bonjour-Lausanne-Day-3-ea509k
  3. I have to apologize, but I’m not able to event preview for tomorrow, so I’m sorry about that. Switching my sleep schedule as taken a bit of toll on me, and I need some time to relax tonight. Out of curiosity, has anyone been reading the articles I post, or am I pretty much just wasting time with those?
  4. Used to play. I stopped after the incident where my thumb ligament was snapped. Rainbow 6 Siege, Call Of Duty (which ever one was popular), Overwatch (though that’s not really an FPS), Battlefield 1 (You wanted me on your team as medic/sniper, I was one of the best in the game for awhile), Halo 4
  5. Was it beautiful? Yes. Was the filming technically brilliant? Yes. Was the acting good? It wasn’t bad. Was the story entertaining? Yes/No. Was there a lack of greater significance? Yes. Was the plot as hard hitting as other WW1/WW2 movies? Yes/No. Did it leave me wanting more? Yes/No. Was the ending soft? Yes. Good film, could have been better (when compared to other top films I’ve seen this year) = 7/10. I could persuaded to upgrade to 8/10.
  6. Yes much better day. I’d classify today as mixed. Short Recap Women’s Giant Slalom: Resnick 4th (0.33 off the podium), Rountree-Williams 8th (Good result) Single Mixed Relay (Biathlon): Van Ledger/Kaisa Bosek 21st (6:27 behind winners) (largely disappointing) Curling: Lost to Japan 2-8. US will need to win next 2 games, and hope the loser of Japan/Italy loses their next game after that as well Figure Skating: Jedidah Isbell/Cate Fleming 6th Place in Pairs (fell 2 places) (didn’t have the endurance needed). Liam Kapeikis 10th place (really redeemed himself from the short program) (great performance) Speed Skating: Men’s 500m - Jordan Stolz 5th (0.67 from a medal), Jonathan Tobon 8th. Great performance from our guys. There were multiple high pointe and nearly missed medals chances for the US today, but we also continued to falter across the board.

  8. Neat little article about the oldest competitors at the 2020 Winter World Masters Games: https://games24.totallympics.com/?p=1432
  9. @Sindo If someone teaches me how to do the PDF conversion thing, I can upload the Winter YOG results.
  10. It really is shame they’re not broadcasting more events. I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve been able to watch and follow so far. Plus, it seems like there more interest in these games than before. NBC, CBC, Eurosport, Marca Claro are all broadcasting a good amount of the games. It’s just a shame that the OBS refuses to broadcast more than a few events at the YOGs. I don’t get it. If you really wanted to grow the event, you’d make more content available. At least the live timing for this edition is good, so following online is possible, but it’s still not as fun as watching. Hopefully we see more the events in the future, but I fear we’ll see very little in Dakar.
  11. Yes, I believe that was their recruitment strategy. It’s not the like the sport is popular in the country. Brazil actually plays better than Spain I think.
  12. I’m almost certain that was the wrong answer too... Edit: It was right.
  13. Yep. Talked myself out of two of the right answers. @Vojthas with another daily win, though no perfect scores today.
  14. Oof rough round for me. I hate tennis more than I ever have before. 7/10
  15. I believe only is competing, and their athletes are in Alpine Skiing.
  16. This isn’t a good look for . There’s a good the IOC might start sanctioning them since defections are becoming rampant, and sports are having to force them to play .
  17. If there’s a ever a firing squad formed from the youth biathletes at these games, I like my odds of survival . Japan went 20 extra bullets, and they still had to do 10 penalty loops!
  18. The fall didn’t help either...
  19. Gold For Japan!!! Down with the empire, down with the red empire.
  20. WHAT A COMPETITION!!! All of the last five rising to the Occasion. Quad from Samsonov, 2 Quads from Mozalev, 2 Quads (with one in combination) from Kagiyama. There were 7-8 performances that were truly memorable today. What a fantastic way to end the day! Still in disbelief.
  21. Mozalev!!! Two Quads! He and Samsonov are absolutely the future of international skating. Rakic and Chen were amazing too.
  22. Samsonov is someone who would benefit from the liberalization of Russian society. It’s clear him and coach don’t have a positive relationship, and the pressure Russians place on him is too much.
