  1. I’ve been throughly impressed by Pendry . British Biathlon may just have a future yet.
  2. First clean shoot of the YOG! Honor goes to @hckosice
  3. I will say that it’s absolutely fantastic to have an actually African skier in the field. Go
  4. Amaya 4th Campbell 4th 7th YOG really tryna make me hate it.
  5. Another medals for @Jur @Cobi. What a games Spain is having
  6. Zawol’s done it! Gold for
  7. Common theme with new it seems. I’m a Bach support (though even I struggle to support him nowadays), so might explain most of it. I think he’s taken the Olympics in a good direction.
  8. Of all the sports to choose a problem with on the program, Biathlon is a really odd choice. It’s made up of the most legitimate individual events, and two relays. Program for Biathlon is completely fine in my opinion.
  9. I’d say it’s the perfect schedule for a youth event. The pursuit and mass start can be really difficult for the youth biathletes. Plus, everyone can finish in the sprint and individual, as where we’d have a bunch of lapped athletes in the other two.
  10. Thon will take the lead here in a few minutes. Great shooting for the top few.
  11. I could hear @Vojthas cheering for him even though I live half a world away
  12. CAMPBELL WRIGHT!!!
  13. Yes that’s the big draw to sports like Curling and Artistic Swimming for me. I love the thinking aspect because it take more than athletic ability to win.
  14. Clearly, as everything, we see this very, very differently.
  15. Agree with all this, just one thing. Technically we do have a hundred Kenyans/Ethiopians running the marathon, we just make sure to spread around diversely from country to country
  16. I think that Artistic Gymnastics has gotten better now... I wouldn’t say that actually. It’s all about the choreography and timing. There were multiple routines over the last few days that I truly enjoyed. I think women’s skating is boring because it’s almost like people want them to be the opposite of physical. They want slow and graceful, and that just ruins skating. It’s hard to judge art though, and that’s where I’m conflicted about artistic sports. On the one hand, I love comparing performances. On the other hand, I hate judging art, because art is subjective to the eyes of the person it’s created, and it can be perceived differently by every single person watching.

  18. Best photos of day 4: https://games24.totallympics.com/?p=1492
  19. Fair point. It makes a case that a sport might not deserve a chance but place in the Olympics then...
  20. Yes this I’m fine with, but every continent should have a competitor in every sport. In fact, part of my complete overhaul of the Olympic qualification system I’m working on involves getting great participation from developing nations.
  21. This is true for the Women I find. There’s too much drama. It pushes negative stereotypes. We have almost no black skaters expect for a few notable exceptions. Plus, the most famous events in the sport are judging/out of competition controversies. I find men’s skating and pairs skating enjoyable. I can barely watch Ice Dancing, and women’s figure skating is everything I hate about modern society, so... I also say this as someone who loves artistic sports. I do believe there’s a place for them on the program. The problem with figure skating is the method of judgment sucks in multiple ways. We saw a girl with multiple falls win a bronze medal today, that’s inexcusable in my book.
  22. A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood was snubbed too. I’m not really a fan of the nominations this year. Their not that diverse, a lot of them beat out better films simply because of prestige. New actors/actresses not really rewarded.
  23. Another snub I just thought about was Knives Out. It and “The Two Popes” really deserve more nominations than they got.
