Just caught a replay of the women’s squash final as well. As someone without an allegiance in the match, I thought the refereeing was pretty solid. It was nice to see mixing up for the medals. Kennedy was just a level better in that match.

Just finishing the mountain bike races was an achievement in itself today. Only 10 men and 5 women registered a final time. Apparently the 18% (of the winner’s time) rule was applied to these races, which I don’t believe was the case in the past… Places 11-15 on the men’s side are recorded as one lap down, but I don’t think they were ever lapped. It’s a shame if they weren’t allowed to register an official time if that’s the case. It would have been nice to see make it to the finish.
