Mikuru Suzuki won last year's final with an average of 90.12 and that was the highest ever (!) for a women's final. In the quarterfinals she beat Sharon Prins where Suzuki and Prins had averages of 61.70 and 59.10, which - honestly - is just absolutely godawful. There are probably three women who are capable of playing at a decent level for more than a few legs, Sherrock, Lisa Ashton and Suzuki, maybe Anastasiya Dobromyslova on a good day.
