  1. After their jumps, Kubacki is the new virtual leader in the Four Hills standings
  2. Kobayashi with a rather mediocre jump, things are gonna get interesting
  3. And that's definitely it for Eisenbichler's chances.
  4. Schlierenzauer beat Stoch, cool
  5. Tournament started and they already managed to misspell two names in one match
  6. @brunamoura utterly destroyed the competition in the 10k at the New Year's Run in the tiny next town over https://uitslagen.nl/uitslag?id=2020010450888 I ran the 5k and stayed a little above 26 minutes, which I'm happy with considering I had never run a significant distance on anything but asphalt before (and at least 3,5km of this lap was on pretty damp and sandy forest paths).
  7. Makes perfect sense, it's a lot closer than WW3 even though people scream panic all the time for that
  8. Literally nothing on here, including 'Dutch Crunch' (whatever that is) sounds even remotely Dutch (or familiar) https://schatsbakery.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Dec.pdf At least here they've got two or three Dutch things. https://schatsbakery.com/wp/price-list/ Apfelstrudel (sadly they translated even that) is as Austrian as Austrian things can go. Also, very tasty as long as it's warm.
  9. Like?
  10. Not in the case of Iran's best female CC skier I mean, yeah she's pretty far behind the best Japanese, but at this year's world championships she was only 3 minutes behind one of the better Chinese skiers in a 5k race for example. Which is quite a difference, but not absolutely insanely huge https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIS_Nordic_World_Ski_Championships_2019_–_Women's_10_kilometre_classical
  11. Still not sure if this is a trolling act or just real.
  12. Any mention in Iranian media about what Soleimani was doing in Baghdad? This whole thing is slightly confusing for me, so ignore my ignorance/non-knowledge on the topic please.
  13. Now I'm curious what they have there
  14. But there's a prediction contest thread with a shitload of questions, I would at the very least like who competes in which sport without having to individually look at every nation's complete team.
  15. I hope the official app is going to be a lot more complete within a few days, right now it's rather empty....nothing about athletes, the sports sections just link to a webpage instead of anything in the app...
  16. Yes and PDFs work perfectly fine for that and is a lot less work. I mean, sure, copy-paste away to those who like doing it of course, I just think the time can be spent in a gazillion more valuable and useful ways. Then again, one should of course decide on their own what to spend their time on
  17. You have a bike?
  18. Yes, but showing people where to find (in this case) results for biathlon is a one-time thing that can be done in the OP of a thread. Why would any user on here spend 5 minutes on copying and pasting whole tables of results every single time when a simple link can be enough?
  19. Ah right, that explanation is why the Netherlands absolutely dominates ice hockey
  20. Four regular World Cups basically and indeed all points count. One day before the competition there's the qualification, where the top-50 qualifies (the points of the qualification don't count towards the general standings, unlike in RAW Air, the 'new' tournament in Norway). In the competition, the athletes are paired based on qualifying results: 1 vs 50, 2 vs 49 and so on. The 25 winners of the head-to-head duels qualify for the final, plus the five best losers to get a total of 30 athletes.
  21. Que no pare la fiesta Expected and deserved world champion, by far the best in the past three weeks
  22. Right, one mystery solved: referee Kirk Bevins, who was supposed to take over from Russ Bray halfway through the final, is still on the road somewhere...his car broke down Quite alright, Bray is a way better voice
