  1. Thanks! Meanwhile I have managed to enter everything I wanted into my own calendar with the timetable page, so it all worked out
  2. Ah, they changed it, thanks. Usually they do that quickly, now it took them at least 5 minutes
  3. 48.92 for McLaughlin-Levrone in the 400m in Eugene. Jacory Patterson wins the men's race in 44.16, with a 4th place for Vernon Norwood, who I assume can go for his one hundred billionth relay medal.
  4. Cate Campbell joined the 'media relay' today. Didn't really swim for over a year, had a shoulder and knee surgery...and went on to split a 24.78 50m for the memes.
  5. Mixed 4x100 free really should have a set starting order in terms of men and women. Makes no difference at all, but it makes it so much more viewable instead of the current 375 meters of waiting to see how is actually doing well. Edit: unlike in the heats, luckily every team has M, M, F, F on the list in the final
  6. Awful, horrible world championship
  7. McIntosh broke down Wasn't expecting Pallistar to have the strongest finish What a race!
  8. 650m done, top-3 within 0,09 seconds
  9. That is a very brave swim by Pallister so far, wow.
  10. Some subtly sponsored glasses for McKeown on the podium.
  11. Wasick is the classic example of why it'd be more fair for everyone if we also have the short course events in the Olympics and then only 25m races.
  12. Fantastic 100 fly final As always, 100 fly is amazing.
  13. If @copravolley was a Minnesotian, we wouldn't hear the end of it.
  14. "McKeown in lane 5, 6, 5, no, 6 it is", is what I was told in the last 50m
  15. That's the 168th individual major silver for Smith.
  16. Give it up for <the amazing/the incredible/your world champion> <insertname>!!
  17. Dutch commentator saying McEvoy's time is the 9th fastest ever. So my question: is it actually? Just to be sure, because the Dutch athletics commentator all the time says something is "the Xth fastest time ever", while meaning that the athlete is now "the Xth fastest athlete ever" (since athletes can of course have multiple fast times)
  18. Thanks! Fantastic time of about 9 seconds by the way
  19. Are the US trials 100m finals somewhere on YouTube without a big fat spoiler in the title? So far I've searched but from the corner of my eye saw that they all seem to have either the winner, the time or both in the title, which is rather annoying, I'd like to watch those two finals without knowing anything about the result yet
  20. Trials aren't really her thing, are they?
  21. I thought he must have been in taekwondo or something (or something was kind of right, at least )
  22. Ah, they use the little bottles of beer, I see, instead of the German half liters. Well that makes it easy, of course
  23. Boxing, that is, just to avoid people having to Google his name like I had to
  24. IAAF was/is more to blame for that by dealing with the whole situation in such a lackluster way for years. But anyway, I think we can at least agree on the statement that there have not been many more divisive situations in athletics in the past 20 years, so it's not like we're going to suddenly get to an agreement now anyway. Luckily there are shoes with springs in them nowadays to create those hypes around record attempts.
  25. There's also a lot of people in between that. I don't necessarily see her as a 'pitiful waif', but certainly neither as an 'accomplished con artist'. It's not unreasonable either way to say it's always been an incredibly difficult situation.
