  1. Kiesenhofer has no pro team by the way, we'd go back to basics with a true amateur winning
  2. I still think it is incredibly unlikely that Kiesenhofer is going as fast as Van Vleuten for 20km already (plus/minus some seconds here and there). Yesterday we also saw the GPS gap going down from nearly a minute to 20 seconds in a kilometer or two...
  3. Good thing for Krasniqi did it yesterday Which doesn't help Kelmendi in the slightest, of course.
  4. It's Georgian, actually, I still have no idea how to write it exactly
  5. Kiesenhofer did win a staggering 50% of her races this year, no wonder she's in shape.
  6. I wonder if it was really an attack or more the Polish and Israeli girls exploding, because they looked parked (especially Plichta).
  7. I wouldn't count on the GPS too much Wouldn't be surprising if it's off by a minute or more.
  8. Camera guy telling Van Vleuten how far behind her the peloton is, she is more interested to the gap ahead: five minutes. That seems like rather unfair helping.
  9. I still think Van Vleuten is the one rider who could feasibly do this in a solo. The gaps are quite big in women's cycling between the top and the riders who are sort of below the 'sub top' (like the three in the lead). They could make it, which would be pretty cool, but I doubt it.
  10. Van Vleuten with the first serious attack, in the ugliest style ever. Perfect Froome-imitation though.
  11. The riders in the lead group are having a surprisingly good chance to actually make it.
  12. Van Vleuten with the next short attack, and right after that Vos is the next one. It's on
  13. Much earlier attack than expected by, in this case, Vollering. Assuming the plan is to be a 'springboard' for Van der Breggen.
  14. Norsgaard crashes and teammate Van Vleuten falls down right over her bike. Van Vleuten seems to be fine, Norsgaard as well hopefully (but didn't see her yet).
  15. Verwijlen is such a sore loser. The kind of athlete one would rather cheer against than cheer for the flag.
  16. Easy to see the Netherlands is the main country in women's cycling, as our co-commentator (a cyclist) just gave us an explanation of how to bring back a lead group: "If you're pulling in the peloton and you go faster than the lead group, you will gain time." Thank you
  17. Wow, we had a live two minutes of canoe slalom on TV With 27 participants, the top-24 going to the semis and Wegman having the 2nd time in run one after thirteen athletes, I think it's going fine
  18. You have to try something very unusual to beat this Dutch team, unless the Dutch start riding against themselves. Luckily with Van der Breggen and Vollering they do actually have a regular team duo, but for example Van der Breggen and Van Vleuten are in no way expected to help each other
  19. Eritrea and Ethiopia together in the chase, that's cool
  20. Szilágyi What a legend! Yes I'm late, just had time to watch yesterday's finals now
  21. And there is the Japanese guy with the super highly valued last run
