  3. Curious case of Casper Ruud - last seven Grand Slam results for him were 2R - F - 2R - F - 2R - F - 2R starting with US Open 2021 (he missed AO 2022)
  4. Very happy for Haddad Maia, of course, but Ons had chance at the end of the second set just... returned to her old-self. She wasn't in great form either, so a QF (and completing QF at each GS) is still good result. Hopefully she'll stay injury free and have good grass season, with deep run at Wimbledon, cause once USO points come off she might slip out of top 10. As of Haddad Maia, wow, finally a Brazilian woman in a GS singles semifinal! With Seyboth Wild beating Medvedev, quite a tide for Brazilians overall at this RG. Good for Bia, cause now two WTA titles are to be defended, so this points are crucial to stay high ranked and use good draws
  5. Too bad it isn't the final. However, we'll probably see young generation finally taking down the old guard. Alcaraz is amazing. A final between Alcaraz and Rune would be a good story, both players being born in 2003 competing for the slam (I feel so old hahha, started to watch tennis around 2001-2002 )
  6. Haddad Maia plays so many long matches, leads and than chokes... If he only controlled herself better, it would have been much easier. She has now to defend a lot of points starting with grass season, but hopefully she can get farther at Wimbledon this year. Another second week should be great. Against Ons, I think Jabeur should win, but these days one is never sure with WTA I am so happy Jabeur was able to capitalize on her talent (although in somewhat very weak era of WTA). Ever since I saw her I had high hopes and it makes me very happy to see her proving herself as a top player (maybe not as strong as we used to have in 2012/2013). Anyway, a title here for Jabeur is hard to imagine with Iga around, but if she stays injury-free, and increae her level, Wimbledon is her chance. I would love to see her win a GS after two lost finals last year.
  7. Mirra Andreeva has got potential, there is still a workload to do though. Pity Olga Danilovic couldn't finish the match in two, there were chances, but I am also happy to see Jabeur kept fighting. Not sure if she can get to that SF, but with this draw, she really should try her best and not check out at some, especially not against someone like Pera. After Rybakina's withdrawal, WTA needs at least one match between two top ten players, and Swiatek-Jabeur can provide some good tennis too despite Swiatek being the favourite.
  8. I recommend than to skip match against Sorribes Tormo, it is going to be long one, most likely
  9. Krejcikova losing is such a disappointment, I was really hoping to see Swiatek - Krejcikova. Iga has really soft draw, Rybakina left as the biggest threat until the final, but some of the names are not to be underestimated.
  10. Shame on you He even has an ATP title where he beat Ruud in the final I had high hopes back in 2020, but he just couldn't capitalize on it :/
  11. And Kudermetova just played a very, very bad match, she made lots of UE
  12. Competition for the worst song is on Just horrible. I liked acoustic version of CZE song, Azerbaijan being decent. Croatia interesting though
  13. Swiatek must work and find a way to beat Rybakina, Krejcikova...
  14. Just wait next game when Slovakia, Greece, Romania and Bulgaria complete the cycle
  15. Oh, and I knew Denmark wouldn't win. The only time I didn't give any point to Denmark they won.
  16. My reserves were Reserve 1 Jessica Shy - Dėl Tavęs Reserve 2 Bess - Ram pam pam Reserve 3 Amanda Tenfjord, Evangelia - AMAN So, even Greece (yeah, I forgot, Greece also haven't scored from me like ever)
  17. I didn't even know Ciao Ciao was that popular, it is the first time I heard the song here, and then in YouTube comments I saw someone connecting it with White Lotus series, which I watched and then it came to me as something I must have heard. Anyway, I was totally enchanted by this song since the moment it was published here, so thank you @Henry_Leon @Pablita and @SteveParker for this one! Congratulations on the win
