Do our 4x400 relay both men & women are safe safe, if Russia takes participation in Athletics?

I am completly agree with all of you. In Olympics tennis should fallow badminton, in badminton double entry is totaly separated from singles. however problem is that in double events of every international tournament of badminton, each pair contains the Player of same nationality. And they are using raking for pairs So it is easier for them to make a seprate entry for singles and doubles. Even Mixed doubles is separated from men and women doubles. However in tennis 90% of the pairs taking part in grand slams and other regular ranking events, contains player with different nationality. If we create separate entry system like badminton than many countries who have only a one good double players will face problem of choosing a suitable partner. Maximum nations will oppose this change in entry system.

Can we win 3 quotas in Baku? These 2 archery men team deficiency may create a difference between 119 & 121. Time is running fast for Athletics persons also. 4x400 men team position may depends upon Russian ban. Love to see crossing 120 mark. But can we do it?

India have to beet Australia, they are capable of doing that. just take advantage of their chances. convert chances into goal, you will win.

As per circle penetration It was onesided in India's favour, but scoreline 2-1. India should have won by 4-1. However Indian team is wining in big tournaments, its giving good feeling.

3 men including Vikas & Devendro and one wildcard for Marry Com is possible.

The list of probables is quite big and that is why we have a chance to cross 120.

120 is possible, but only if our both men & women 4x400 relay team qualify for rio. As it now we have won 96 quota places, 3 from golf is almost sure and we can add one male and one female swimmer through university places. At the moment 101 is sure. 2 from men archery, 3 from boxing will take it to 106. If both 4x400 team wins quota it will increase total quota to 114. And we all are hoping that Krishna Poonia, Sidhanth Thilangay and Duttee chand will achieve the qualifying mark. In probables list their are many more. So any thing is possible. We may cross 120. But however I will celebrate anything 100+, because this was the target set by our sports administration, Government and all sports lovers. We are achieving a target in sports, which is some thing new in India.

with so many player still have chance to qualify, I think we can at-least win 10 quotas more. This will take our total delegation to around 115. With 3 in golfs and 2 in swimming almost assure, i am hoping at-least 3 in boxing and 2 from our men archery team. But since now our both men & women 4x400 relay team have chance to qualify, and with 7-8 others are hoping to achieve qualifying mark, we may get 15-16 athletics quota. which means it will cross hockey 32 quota places. And it will take total quota to above 120, which will be a great achievement for Indian sports. 115 itself is mark which is way ahead of our earlier target of 100 quota in Rio Olympics. \ with Indian players crossing first target of 100 quota easily, I have no doubt that we will also chase down the next target, that is wining more than 10 medals in Rio. I am hoping for minimum 2-3 medals in shooting ( hope to see a women shooter wining Olympic medals for first time), 2 again from wrestling and 1 each from Boxing, Archery & Badminton. We may win more in Badminton and Archery. And may see some surprise from Gymnastics, Athletics and Tennis.

Is their any news of Russian athletics team ban. As I think their return can change scenario for our 4x400 women & men relay team.

Man archery team should qualify for Rio. I think it should not be too hard for them, but yes every day or i say every moment is differ in sports. Let's hope for the best, best of luck for Indian Arjuna's...

It iss going to very tough for India to win Medal in Tennis. All nations will put their best players.

I too saying same, Till 2012 london Olympics, Paes was my favorite player than Rohan & Mahesh. But whatever Paes did that time, taking advantage of pro-paes stand of federation, was totally against the spirit of the game as well as humanity. Rohan/Paes is good but can they play together?

problem is that Paes is not a bad person but last time also it was the pro-paes behavior of federation that is creating problems.

I think he may go with Paes.

So today Rohan & Sania will give us 4 more quota's. It will be 96 now. Slowly moving towards 100 mark. We may cross 110 mark. Golf (3) swimming (2) is almost sure. Boxing, men archery and athletics will help in crosing 110 mark.

Actually the whole double controversy in 2012 was started by tennis Federation with their pro-paes attitude. In 2012 mahesh & rohan were playing together as a team and paes was playing with foreign players. Last time paes took the advantage of pro-paes attitude of Federation and created that unnecessary controversy. In 2012 rohan & mahesh deserved to play together but paes did all wrong that time. The politics that was played in 2012 is still damaging indian tennis.

I have hope from badminton, but not from tennis.. Needs good players in tennis singles, only than we can hope for medal.

Who will partner whom in mixed double doesn't solve any problem. If you see past records maximum mixed double as well as men and women double medals were won by great singles players. Last time Williams with Bryan won it for USA. RF too have won the men doubles, in Olympics doubles becomes quite hard as all great singles players become part of their national team.
