Any of them have chances to qualify? with only 3 places available through this competition in all categories except 91 & 91+, in these two only one quota available. I think this will be toughest of all qualification tournaments. As pro boxers are ready to roar.

They are only contenders for medal. Not predicting medal numbers. Final tally may reach 10.

All 12 shooters are medal prospect. 2 from women Archery, 3 in badminton, 1 in hockey, 3 wrestlers, 2 boxers. I am calling them medal contender s because in life " form is temporary whereas class is permanent." They all have proven in past that on their day, they have class to win medal at any stage. I hope at rio maximum will have their day. Hope for the best.

How much time left for sumit bout?

Absolutely correct. With 120 delegation and with 10 total medals will be great performance for us. Our performance is improving year by year, it is good sign. For the first time we are going with atleast 20+ medal contenders. We are improving, players need our suport, be positive, keep faith in talent of our players.

I am saying again and again, all of our 12 shooters are capable of wining medals on their day. Kynan again vindicating my point.

I think if vikas qualified in Baki, vijendra is out of rio, as both are from same weight categories.

Let us start an online campaign for this. Request Government to have a national sports policy, which includes this points also.

We are seeing very good result in shooting, Armed forces played a big role in creating a poll of good shooters in India. I think Army can easily repeat their shooting success in Equestrian, Canoeing, Rowing & Sailing. Once they achieve success in these than they should also try for Fencing. In India it will take long long time to establish world class civil (non defence) coaching center for these games. But for defence forces it is not a big problem, as they already have primary facilities for these sports. All these sports have total 42 gold medal events. They can add swimming also. It alone has 34 Gold medal events. Army should have a sports quota for 8-10 year old children, so that those kids who have interest in sports gives full attention to sports, with already making their carrier safe in armed forces. We can produce world champions only if our players gets world class coaching early in their life, as early as 8-10.

in swimming I think we will get only one male & one female quota through university places.

both 4x400 relay team along with 3 boxers are taking our quota to 112. If some other athlete's do well we may cross 115 mark. Wowwwwwwwwwwwwww.... If that happens. GREAT...

His biggest test will be against Ukrainian top seeded ZAMOTAEV Dmytro in semis. He will be through to rio, after beating him.

with golfers and swimmers we are reaching 101. 101 is assure now. if we add both 4x400 relay team we will go to 109. Still deficiency of 11. Siddharth, Dutee & OP will make 3 more. If we wins two in Baku and gets wild card for Marry Com than we will make it to 115. I hope your words proves correct and we cross 120 mark. However this month in Athletics we didnt won any new quota and failure in Men Archery has stoped our march towards 120. In early June & May end, we were even thinking of crossing 120 very easliy. It was looking something sround 125, but now so many athletics competition are going around but are not generating any new quota, that is why I am little sad.

Time is running out for Indian Athlete's. 11th July cutoff is coming. This month I think they have not won any new quota. Still stayed with 96. 3 from golf and 2 from swimming will add soon. Now 4 from women 4x400 relay is looking only possibility. Things very very tough for boxers. Hopes are from Devendro Singh, but in his weight category only two finalists will qualify, so he has a long way to go. In vikas category 5 quota places are their, so he has to reach semis at-least to confirm his place. now I think we have to forget 120 and will settle for something between 105-110.
