In athletics our players are now improving national record very frequently, i think if this move will continue for some more time, soon our NR will stand close to WR & OR. That will the time when we will hope for medals in athletics. However 120 is not the only dream, it is one of the dreams. I know 120 is only a number, but this number is very big for all of us. Until April and even in May, All sports news broadcasters and even SAI officials were predecting anything between 95 to 100. But if we will sent 120 it means 20% more of what our officials were predicting, and moreover almost 50% more than previous games. And Just see the fire of our athlets, they wants to get olympic quota and to achive this they are breaking national records almost every day. I never heard any thing like this ever. Today their aim is to win Olympics quota, next generation aim will be to win medals. It just a start of sports culture in our society. Now I hope upwards trends will continue.

Today and tomorrow very important day for our athlets, what will be the final figure. How ever what our sports person has achived so far, is already a great achievement. 111 is already a big achievement for us, it has already open the flood gates of golden future for us. Now with just 3 days left for olympic quota cut off date in Athletics, We need some cracking performances from our athletes. Along with 105 already assured, and 3 from golfs with 3 additional from 4x400 women relay ( as Nirmala Sheoran & Tintu Luka) already earned quota. 111 is what we can achieve. Hopefully tonight neeraj goyat will make it 112. To get 120 we have to work very very hard in remaining 3 days.Need good performance from 4x400 men team, they are placed at very good position and only one good race will do it for them but now only one race is remaining so thy have to do it now, it now or never as far as their chances for rio. Same for other athletes also. M R Poovamma, M Johny & B B Rana is our best bet for achieving 120 target.
