Dont demoralize about Badminton, remember "form is temporary where as class is permanent". Saina Nehwal, P V Sindhu & Shrikant Kidambi all are class players, they have shown that on their day they can beat any player including Chinese. So who knows we may see all Indian final In women singles segment.

I don't think we have even any outside chance in tennis because you cannot win medals in tennis unless you have some good singles players. Just see the list of medal winners below, maximum medals in doubles events were won by those pairs who have at-least one good singles players, where as Bryan brothers are double specialist and they both are playing together for whole of the session. Where as now our both top ranked players who are looking to qualify are playing with non Indian players. Saina Mirza and Rohan Boppana have to choose an Indian partner, with Rohan may go with Paes, Saina dont have a good partner with whom she can chase a medal. In ATP events these single great players don't participate in double events and ATP double events contains only double specialists but in Olympics these great players like Federer, Murray, Tsonga forms a good double team with their country-mates. dont be demoralize so early, I am fully confident that we will cross 10+ medal mark. Hoping for 2 or may be more in shooting, 1-2 in Archery, 1-2 in wrestling, 1-2 in badminton, 1-2 in boxing, may be 1 come as surprise from gymnastics. All 12 shooters are capable of wining medals on their day, same is for players of Archery, badminton (singles), wrestling and boxing. So we will have at-least 20-25 serious medal contenders.

No quota won from grand prix yesterday. I hope today we win atleast 1 quota in wrestling today. In London Olympics their was 7 categories in GR men as well as FS men and only 4 was for women. But this time one category was removed from both men events and it has been added to women category. But as we know India is do well in Men FS only and that too in lower and middle weight category and that category which is removed from Men FS comes from this category, that is why with just one day left for wrestling qualification we are still down one quota place from last time, Last time we won 4 quota places in Men FS And 1 in women. This time we have won just 3 in men FS however we gained one in Men GR. However it will not be a good news for Indian wrestlers and for whole sports community, if we go with lesser quota in wrestling because in last Olympics we won 2 medals in this sports. In boxing also we are in danger of wining lesser Olympic quota from last time (and that too in big numbers). Boxing and Wrestling has given us medals in last two olympics, but with our performance going down in both these sports, lot of rectification work is the need of time.

I too feels that one male and one female swimmer will qualify from India.

GR is never our strong part, last year we didn't got a single quota. This year atleast one. May be two, but that will be tougher.
