  1. Camryn Rogers takes gold and Ethan Katzberg silver at the Diamond League in Poland.
  2. The gene tests that our female athletes just completed (Dynacare) at the National Championships to determine that they are female did not comply with the world athletics requirements. They will need to complete another before the September 1 deadline. So athletics Canada is doing everything in its power to get this done before then. France is also in the same situation.
  3. Erin brooks was named rookie of the year for the World League Championship Tour!
  4. John Bessong wins bronze in men’s 100+kg judo
  5. Hawash and Kylie Oliver take bronze in the women’s team archery
  6. Janna Hawash wins silver in women’s recurve archery
  7. Norway’s Olympic ski jumping champions Marius Lindvik and Johann Forfang along with their head coach, assistant coach and service team member have been charged with the tampering of their equipment for an unfair advantage. In a sport where the slightest adjustment to their ski suits for optimal aerodynamics means a podium or not the FIS has cracked down on other skiers leading up to the Olympic Games. Six others were caught and banned from various countries competing at the recent World Cup where Abigail Strate won Bronze and Gold. The FIS mentioned that there is no room for exceptions and that the checks to the suits will be strict and precise during this Olympic season.
  8. Bence Halasz, Hungary 83.18 (PB) Ethan Katzberg, Canada 81.88 Mykhalo Kokhan, Ukraine 80.84 Results from the Hungarian athletics Grand Prix in men’s hammer.
  9. Kate Current sets a personal best in the women’s 1500m with a time of 4:02.79, increasing her chances of getting one of three potential spots at worlds in September.
  10. World champion Fred Kerley of USA suspended for doping (whereabouts)
  11. Finally something new to celebrate for rowing Canada
  12. Mboko wins the national bank open :D
  13. Mboko advances to the semi finals of the national bank open!!!
  14. Fifth again in the relay for the women. Great swim by all four of them as well. 3:55.63
  15. Canada Qualifies for the Final in the Women's Medley in sixth overall. We really need a replacement for Macneill though. We are two seconds behind of every other nation in the final for the fly portion.
  16. Canada qualifies for the men's medley final. What a lead off by Tierney and a 49.98 for Kharun! Australia and China are out.
  17. Same with the top Chinese and Carson Foster of the states, all in the same heat. Wonder why they all scratched last minute.
  18. Victoria Mboko beat the first seed Coco Gauff easily 6-1 6-4 to advance to the quarterfinals at the National Bank open!!!
  19. Well we know she will be given the best drugs. So summer should start them as well to stay ahead.
  20. Bronze is still incredible since it was her first time competing in the event at worlds. When she first did the 400, she placed fourth at worlds and was below her national record too. Now all she does it win haha
