They might not be any games. The IOC relationship with Trump is poor and if he bans some countires from entering the IOC might say - bye bye- contract breached. .

The IOC and Trump have a bad relationship. Could get very messy if things go wrong.

I’ve never seen an appeal without cancelation of results. I wonder if they have done that because they know CAS won’t want to cause too much of a mess,

Is Trump becomes President is he really going to let in the likes of Iran if they qualify. Fifa could protest if he won’t but sort of cancelling it they don’t have much leeway.

I think they will have to give them something that can win a few medals in.

That will be very controversial- I can’t imagine closing off streets is that expensive baring in mind they are lots of city Marathons in the UK and they can’t all be that costly. Particularly if they did it in a fairly short loop and used parks etc. Also it takes away an opportunity to actually have people attend something for free. I wonder if the Atheltics community will try and fund that aspect. Could also do a half marathon instead as the European champs have done.
