  1. Well done Kazakhstan on getting off the mark. Great to see that once again TISC community has left no one behind
  2. When the contest is hosted in Netherlands later this year, @heywoodu is going to replace the coffee break with a Red Bull break.... how many cans of Red bull can you drink between sessions comp.
  3. Woohoo!! Thank you United States! . Always nice to get off the mark early.
  4. Good morning everyone! Another TISC Grand Final is here Best of luck to everyone and may we all have points at the end.
  5. Oh and of course the traditional Czechoslovak trophy which @hckosice will be trying hard to defend again tomorrow .
  6. I wonder what memorable TISC moments we will make tomorrow. What are some of your fondest, clearest, most fun memories of past contests? Some things that immediately come to my mind.... The tangerine discussion The time when G.B. awarded gold, silver and bronze to the only 3 nations without a medal The thousand times that x nation cried about their lack of points before scoring a heap of points in the next vote, a famous TISC tactic Those one-by-one votes to decide the winner that we saw only on 3 occasions so far in TISC history Our usual discussions about food in between the voting sessions
  7. Really nice ceremony and so many beautiful landscapes and lovely cities on offer. And I love the scoreboard, nice design. Nice job @dcro
  8. Oh I see it is the wind that is the enemy
  9. The stuff that Séamus drinks has so much alcohol content that it never freezes.
  10. Two things.... Could we also say that the broken down car is a symbol for @heywoodu's usual late arrival?. Or maybe it is a symbol of the penguins and their never-ending aim of sabotaging TISC. And is the monster that appears around 6:00 a symbol of bestmen when he goes on one of his tantrums?
  11. Apparently this is also our seating plan for the Grand Final tomorrow. I think Séamus arranged for the Irish delegation to be seated neat the bar.
  12. @Wumo some more songs I entered in the Festival of Music in the past for your playlists.... TISC Annual 2014 TISC Open 2014 TISC Open 2015
  13. I think though a lot of countries are buying time if that’s possible. There might be another wave coming but hopefully there can be advances in terms of treatment, knowledge of the virus, more preparedness and eventually a vaccine. Maybe they will run out of time before another wave hits but I think it’s worth taking this chance than just doing nothing or too little in the first place.
  14. For the very first Festival of Music at TISC Open 2013 I entered two of my favourite songs over the years.....
  15. There was a Festival of Music every edition, even from the very first TISC in 2013. But I don't think those songs were ever collected somewhere so now that the old forum is gone, I think sadly they are gone now too. I remember some of the songs I entered for it but that's about it.
  16. It's a bit out of date for some nations I guess. For example, Ireland had 30,213 tests carried out by March 30th and it is still showing that figure in the worldometers table 1 week later.
  17. Boris Johnson has been moved into ICU ward in hospital.
  18. For Ireland the first that springs to mind is the Irish song for Italia 90 World Cup.... the whole country was swept up in a wave of emotion after we qualified for Italia 90 and we made it to the quarter-finals in the World Cup, beating Romania on penalties... this song was synonymous with Irish successes in any aspect (not just in football) for many years after. The other one that comes to mind immediately is The Fields of Athenry.... this song will be blasted out by Irish fans during rugby and football matches. The song has huge cultural significance to many Irish people.
