Looks like Angella Okutoyi is going to try and get that top 400 ranking. She's registered for 6 tournaments in April/May.

There's a few more marathons in China so they'll have a couple more opportunities.

Kuwait has already one fencer qualified in sabre, will they still be considered in epee/foil? I guess having no women competing lower their chances.
Also, will participation in the Zonal QT be taken into account? for example has a decently placed woman in epee but haven't entered her so far for the tournament, while they did enter a couple fencers in other weapons.
I forgot Kuwait already got a quota. I was thinking men's sabre for them.
There's no participation requirements for tripartite athletes in fencing. In other sports, I've seen nations which did not participate at all get tripartite quotas.
-
I would be surprised if more than four quotas went to tripartite nations. Off the top of my head I can think of as possible candidates.

She got the quota as african champion in 2023
No, Africa lost the quota because they didn't meet the minimum standard (more than 2 nations competing or a boat finishing in the top 90% at the world championships).

lost the quota of IQFOIL women
Algeria never got the quota, only one nation competed and they did not meet the minimum requirement at the 2023 World Championships.

Yeah, Canada's team chances right now pretty much rely on the United States to rank in the top 4 and then make sure we finish in the top 16.
The exception of course is women's team foil, but that will likely regress back to the mean once this generation retires.

I would have thought Morocco would place better with more gold than 9.
Also, Egypt first time a nation wins 100+ gold medals in one edition. Impressive!
Historically, Morocco has not had a good relationship with the African Games due to its stance on Western Sahara. It was only in 2019 that they were allowed to return.

Didn't want to get confused with World Archery and World Athletics I guess.

won a quota in men's -97kg, we are up to 11 nations with a quota. will have a chance in the -125kg, but Egypt will be the heavy favourite.

With the quota today Samoa will have a squad of over 20 for the first time.
16 already qualified+ 2 swimming+ 1 athletics + 2 weightlifting. Could be a few more
There's a good chance Samoa may not be eligible for a tripartite quota next Olympics. Team sport quotas don't count, but individual wise they are up to four and along with the five quotas you listed, they will also likely get a spot in judo and maybe in taekwondo.
With that said, they haven't made use of tripartite quotas in a long time so it's not a big loss.

I saw a race like that when I was a kid and was very confused. That's when I learned freestyle meant any kind of stroke.

Sadly it appears did not start here?
They have one athlete in men's freestyle.
The stronger is competing though and hopefully will qualify their first athletes tomorrow.

a last minute takedown to win the second quota for Guam
I think they are in the same weight, but one of them had to make the sacrifice and go to the next weight. it was the other way around in Tokyo , this time it worked for both of them
I think Rckaela is the better wrestler and with no Nigerian in this event it was seen as the best option to maximize their chances. Lucky for Mia, she also avoided Nigeria and now both get to compete at the Olympics

2014 Youth Olympian Mia-Lahnee Aquino qualifies to her first senior Olympics.

No full women's team for Nigeria, though she'll have a chance at the final qualifier, depending on the draw.
-
Might come down to whoever wins gold at the Pan American Championships in April
-
Unsurprisingly, North Africa dominates Greco-Roman.
Freestyle should be a little more diverse.
-
Four Oceania nations are competing in men's -67kg Greco-Roman and they all ended up on the same half of the bracket. Algeria likely wins the quota though.

Will the first set of draws be tonight or tomorrow morning?

I imagine the United States will clean up many of their missing quotas. The good news is that they aren't eligible for the women's rifle 3 position, air rifle and air pistol events so at least other nations will win too.
